1,000 Drivers Polled: We will not change to public transportApril 27th, 2007
We all know the roads are getting busier and busier every year and one answer to this is if a lot more of us start to use public transport, but a poll of 1,000 drivers conducted by Autocar has shown results not so good.
The Poll showed that most people will rather pay higher prices to drive their car than to take public transport and who can blame them with the state public transport is in (we are talking about the UK here, your welcome to share information on how your public transport is in other countries).
I have used public transport before and most times it is not on time (early and late), and takes much longer to get where you want to go. The government wants most of us to start using public transport more but they should sort it out to a much better standard first (not back-to-front).
I agree that CO2 levels must be improved but come on; first we need a better transport system.
