By using vibrations and sounds motorists reaction times are improved, Dr Charles Spence (an experimental psychologist at Oxford University) believes these sensory warnings will reduced car smashes dramatically and also make a lot of car insurance companies very happy (you never know we may even get cheaper car insurance).
To back his theories Dr Charles Spence is developing a range of vibrating car parts, from pedals to seatbelts that will help drivers by warning them when there is a potential hazard ahead.
