Moneysupermarket.com Named As Best Comparison SiteMarch 12th, 2008
In a new survey by Ipsos MORI, an independent market research group, moneysupermarket.com was found to return the lowest premiums for nearly twice as many profiles as it’s rivals and almost six times more than the site ranked last!
Mystery shoppers compared 100 quotes for different makes, models and ages of car at postcodes across the nation from the six main compaison sites: moneysupermarket.com, Tesco Compare, Confused, Gocompare, comparethemarket and Uswitch.
An Ipsos MORI spokesperson said,
“Findings from the mystery shopping exercise showed moneysupermarket.com is almost twice as likely to provide the cheapest annual premium for motor insurance compared with other leading comparison sites. In 42 out of 100 tests, it delivered the best, or equal to best, quote in terms of price: this is well ahead of its nearest rival.”
