Using Automated Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) technology the Rochdale officers in Turf Hill, Newbold and Freehold have seized vehicles and handed out on-the-stop fines of £80.
It is reported that this new system is here to stay as it has been having fantastic results in catching the law breakers.
