What Does Your Car Insurance Cover

Is been all over the news about flood warnings being sounded around the country, well now gocompare.com has issued a further note of caution regarding car insurance so you my wan to read carefully.

28 per cent of UK drivers have only third party, fire and theft policies which is ok but it does not provide cover for flood damage.

Hayley Parsons Gocompare.com’s managing director has stressed that there is nothing wrong with purchasing these policies, she suggests that it is important that the drivers who do are aware of exactly what is and isn’t included in their policy cover.

“Every day we are seeing images of people driving through flood water and it is clear that people still aren’t aware of the damage it can cause to their car or the danger flood water can hide,” she commented.

Drivers without comprehensive car insurance should take extra care to avoid driving through deep water, she said.
